I understand The Lactation Network currently does not collaborate with many insurance companies and or specific plans.
Therefore, I have diligently sought ways to extend assistance to more families requiring cost effective lactation services.
I am an out-of-network provider, allowing you to see me and seek reimbursement through insurance. My NPI number is: 1184480550.
Services are paid up front. You will receive a superbill with detail of your consultation for submission to your insurance carrier.

Pumping Support
During the visit, we’ll assess your baby’s latch, feeding patterns, and weight gain, address any concerns such as pain, low milk supply, or pumping, and create a tailored care plan to help you meet your feeding goals.
During the session, we’ll explore possible reasons for refusal, assess feeding techniques, and provide personalized strategies to gently introduce or reintroduce bottle-feeding.
We’ll review your pump setup, ensure proper flange sizing, troubleshoot any issues, and create a pumping plan tailored to your feeding goals — whether that's building a milk stash, returning to work, or exclusive pumping.

My Out-of-Network Policy
Before Booking
Verify with your insurance policy prior to booking to determine your coverage for lactation services. Depending on your policy, you may be eligible for partial or full reimbursement.
Deposit
I require a 50% deposit at the time of booking, and collect the remaining payment at your appointment. The deposit locks your appointment in my schedule. Deposits are returned if notifying me of cancelation 24 hours before your appointment.
In-Home Visits
I'd love to visit you in the comfort of your own home for your consultation. However, In-Home Visits that are over a 30-mile radius of Herndon, require a $50 travel fee.
Cancellations
Once you have booked an appointment with me, it means I have reserved a time in my schedule just for you. I understand that unforeseen circumstances may occur. I require a 24 hour cancelation notification. Your deposit will not be returned to you when canceling after this window.
Follow-Ups
At least 1 follow up is highly recommended. I care genuinely about you and your baby and it is important for me to assess the progress of your journey.

KNOW YOUR RIGHTS
The Affordable Care Act states, "Health Insurance plans MUST provide breastfeeding support, counseling, and equipment for the duration of breastfeeding. These services may be provided before and after birth." The only exceptions to this are state funded health care plans and grandfathered plans.
PLEASE KNOW
Your insurance plan is a contract between you and your insurance company. If you want to know exact coverage, please reach out to them for information. Keep in mind you may be partially or totally reimbursed or may need to reach your deductible to be eligible.
If for some reason your insurance company does not cover the cost for my services, I want to assure you that in being a self-pay patient with an IBCLC, my price is inline with my expertise, education, and skills. I am passionate about what I do, I care deeply about every family I work with, and strive for excellence in my work.
